Jack Swart

Jack joined Elliot Watson Financial Planning in April 2026, commencing as an adviser assistant and will soon be progressing through his Professional Year toward becoming a Financial Adviser.

He has extensive experience across financial planning, accounting and corporate finance, with a career spanning over 25 years in Australia and internationally. His background includes roles in tax, paraplanning, superannuation, and investment analysis, giving him a well-rounded perspective on client advice. Jack is equally committed to supporting clients across all stages of life, from wealth creation and superannuation strategies through to retirement planning. His strong technical background and attention to detail enable him to deliver confidence to and clients.

Jack brings a deep and well-rounded skillset built on decades of experience across financial services, accounting and investment analysis. His career includes roles with major organisations including PwC, GE, KPMG, UNSW, and the Link Group as well as hands-on experience in financial planning and tax. This breadth of experience, combined with strong academic credentials, underpins his ability to provide high-level analytical and technical support within the advice process.

Jack has strong ties to the local community and has been actively involved in volunteer financial roles over many years. He had served as Treasurer for a Lake Macquarie Church for over a decade and has also contributed his time as Treasurer of the Valentine-Eleebana Cricket Club.

Having lived and worked both in Australia and overseas, Jack brings a broad perspective to both his professional and personal life. He values community involvement, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting organisations that make a positive local impact. He never misses a Springboks game and is also an avid reader, and history-lover, having spent the last 5 years working his way through Roman history. He is currently in the year 1205 and things just got really interesting…
