Platinum Award and Support Person of the Year

August has been an exciting time for the team at Elliot Watson Financial Planning. Four of our staff headed to the RI Advice Annual Conference held at the picturesque Sheraton Grand Mirage in Port Douglas. At the tropical themed Gala Awards Dinner, held on the last night of the conference, our company was in the running for CEO’s Choice Practice of the Year ($1 million and over) and our own Cara Nightingale was up for the award of Support Person of the Year for her contributions as Marketing Manager for Elliot Watson Financial Planning.

In a successful night for the team, not only did we achieve Platinum status, which means Elliot Watson Financial Planning is in the top 15 practices nationally across the RI Advice Group network, Cara took home the Support Person of the Year Award for her contributions to marketing and business development.

The national reward and recognition program, which recognises excellence, leadership, and performance, is run by Retire Invest, one of Australia’s largest and most respected financial advice brands. RI Advice Group Excellence Awards offers numerous awards including individual and practice categories to promote excellence across the group.

“This is wonderful recognition of the contribution I make to our business. I strive each day to bring the benefits of financial advice to life and educate potential clients to the positive difference financial advice can make in their lives,” Cara said upon receiving her award.

For Elliot Watson Financial Planning’s Managing Director, Elliot Watson, Cara’s recognition is further evidence of the strong and experienced team working to support their clients.

“Our whole team works tirelessly to help our clients achieve more with their finances. Achieving the prestigious platinum award is further evidence of the strength of our team and business,” Elliot said.

“Cara’s ability to bring a clients’ story to life has been beneficial in showcasing the tangible and emotional benefits we can make to a clients’ life,” he continued.

Cara’s award nomination detailed a video series she created detailing real-life client case studies which highlighted the benefits of ongoing financial advice over 15-years across pre-retirees and those starting out on their financial journey.

With Cara’s win and the company’s Platinum status recognition at the 2022 Awards, Elliot Watson Financial Planning continues to build its profile and reputation for success.
