Meet Rhonda Hodges
Rhonda is our newest team member, but she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Working in the industry for over 14 years as a Customer Service Manager, Rhonda has seen firsthand how financial advice can change people’s lives. We are excited to have Rhonda join our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on delivering results for our clients.
What are your qualifications and work experience?
I hold a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning DFP1-4) and I have worked in the sector for over 14 years working my way up from a paraplanner to customer service manager.
What do you enjoy about financial planning?
Over the years I have seen firsthand the positive impact that sound financial advice has had on the lives or singles, couples, families and pre-retirees. I get great job satisfaction knowing that I am assisting clients to achieve positive outcomes for their futures.
What is the best piece of financial advice you have ever been given?
The best piece of advice I have even been given is to treat your savings like you would any other bill. Have a set amount direct debited to an alternate account to coincide with when your income is paid. It makes saving habitual and easier.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
My husband and I are huge Knights supporters so during winter we attend all home games and some of the away games where possible. In summer, I love to go to the beach for picnics with friends and family. Between my three daughters I have five grandchildren, so spending time with them keeps me busy.
What do you love about living in the Hunter region?
I feel blessed to live in the region. We have such a variety of things on our doorstep be it beaches, vineyards or the lake. It truly is an amazing part of the country.
